I grew up surrounded by craftsmen – the clean smell of sawdust and trusses silhouetted against the sky have been irreversibly imprinted in my DNA. To create with impeccable quality, I discovered, brought me deep satisfaction. While I built residential structures for most of my post-middle school life, I have long dreamed of helping people through medicine, of mending bones and tissue over mortar and wood.
The desire to help underserved people has been fanned through time spent in remote areas of Africa, India, and South and Central America. I am currently employed in financial services at MOTZ, LLC, but my passion is to work in surgical medicine as a physician assistant. I (attempt to) balance a full-time job with full-time studies and being a Dad to four incredible kids and husband to the love of my life.
